Slemish

Today we visited the very mountain where Saint Patrick shepherded his swine whilst in captivity in Ireland. Today we climbed Slemish!

Slemish. Cars not to scale.

Although small by a Coloradan’s standards, Slemish is proper “mountain”, as it was formed by an active volcano before Patrick’s time. Lucky for us it is just small enough to be climbed in under an hour, but just tall enough to pose a challenge.
