Carrick-A-Rede, Northern Ireland

As one of my last activities in Northern Ireland, I had the opportunity to visit Carrick-A-Rede (the “rock in the road”), a migratory route for Atlantic Salmon. Fisherman looking to catch the migratory fish would string a rope bridge over 30 meters in the air to cross from the mainland to the small island. Though the rope bridge itself is still there, it has gone through many reincarnations. It was a gloriously thrilling crossing. Take a look!
