If you appreciate the stunning feat of ancient architecture that is Stonehenge, then you will certainly appreciate the Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber. Situated in the middle of the rolling hillside and bathed in dazzling sunshine, it is easy to imagine how reverent the place must have felt during the time it was used as an actual, Neolithic burial site.
Though the walls and the cairns have disappeared with time, the entrance remains intact, balanced precariously in its typical “H” formation, where it will hopefully remain for another hundred thousand years.
