When you find that place that feels like Home...

There's no denying it—I love traveling abroad. Experiencing all the sights and sounds and smells of a new place is an exciting and intrinsic part of traveling away from home. While traveling however, you cannot help but compare your home to your home-away-from-home, even if only unconsciously. So it especially jarring (in the strangest, most comforting way) when you find familiarity in a place you’ve never been. One such place for me was the Lake District in Cumbria, England. Have a look at the stunning views that pulled the mountainous strings of my Native Coloradan heart!
