In the southern portion of Berne, on the border between central Switzerland and the pre-Alps, the Gurnigel Mountains of Wattenwil are a glorious example of some of the mountains Switzerland is famous for. With soaring peaks and deep valleys, it’s no wonder that these picturesque mountains are what people most associate with Swiss culture. Not only did we hike through these mountains and experience the beauty of the peaks in late summer, we saw some unmistakable signs of Fall. Can it already be the end of September? Where has the time gone?!
